The Love for Disney is Real

The love for Disney is real. This Sunday I went with my mother and godmother to see The Jungle Book-finally! Let me just state it again: The love for Disney is real.

I've been wanting to see this movie, ever since I saw the trailer for it in February. It looked so appealing, realistic, and funny. And it was! It was action packed and had the same essence as the original version.

The cast was incredible! Ben Kingsley as Bagheera was perfect. I felt every being of my soul in that panther. Ben Kingsley has always been one of my favorite actors. He cares this love, passion, and soul in his acting. To hear his voice come out of Bagheera, who is a panther that only cares for Mowgli, is just beautiful.

There were perfect funny parts in the movie. For instance when Baloo voiced by Bill Murray went to get Mowgli out of the Monkey Palace, he was making funny yet subtle comments to the overweight orangutan King Louie voiced by Christopher Walken.

Idris Elba must be Disney's new bae because not only did he voice Shere Khan, but he was Chief Bogo in Zootopia! I LOVED Zootopia, so to hear his voice in Jungle Book, well that gave me life. Idris always had the voice of authority and in a sense recklessness, an abuse of authority as well. Yup, I got all of that just from hearing his voice. Because when it comes to these types of movies, acting should all be in the voice.

And of course to add more Disney flare to an already Disney movie we have Lupita Nyong'o who voices Raksha, the wolf that mothers Mowgli. I just have to say I have a love for Lupita even though I never saw 12 Years a Slave, I loved her in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Lupita has a soft beautiful voice, perfect for reading an audiobook or poetry-if you know what I mean.

The movie overall was beautiful done. The graphics seemed realistic, and not weird or out of place. Disney just out does themselves every time. First it was amazing to see Zootopia, where a little bunny can be more than what its supposed to be-basically we shouldn't be stuck in boxes- and now it was amazing to see a live action movie version of my favorite Disney movie.

I just have to wonder what they have in store next....

Captain America: Civil War
